आज प्रातः कल से ही पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री एन० दी० ब्लग्गन के निर्देशानुसार उप अधीक्षक बाड़मेर, श्री लखमन राय राठौर के नेतृत्व में वहां चेकिंग की कार्यवाही हेतु एक विशेष अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान के दौरान बिना हेलमेट व बिना सीट बेल्ट पाये जाने वाले चालकों का चालान किया गया। कार्यवाही के दौरान १३३ चालान भरे गए, जिसमें ११९ बिना हेलमेट व १४ बिना सीट बेल्ट थे। १२६३ लोगों को समझाइश कि गयी। चालान में ९००० रूपये का जुर्माना वसूला गया। अभियान अभी भी जारी है।
